Abiding in Christ
John, one of the original twelve disciples and in Jesus’ inner circle, wrote this gospel. It is different than Matthew, Mark, and Luke, because there are no parables. John’s gospel does include details of the first seven days of Jesus’ ministry, his seven signs, and his seven “I AM” statements; so all peoples could really see and cultivate transformational life through an abiding and relational knowledge of Jesus (20:30–31).
