Jon grew up in a family of nine children, and has lived in New Jersey, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. He earned a degree in business/communications at Calvin University and worked in development before becoming a full-time musician. He travels the country playing concerts in people’s homes. In 2018, he married Ariana and moved to Illinois. They have a son, Isaiah. He has served as the Director of Worship Ministries since 2020. He also enjoys hiking, learning birdsongs, cooking, exercise, and a good cup of coffee with Ariana.
