Gary had the blessing of growing up in a Christian home along with his sister in Peoria, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and graduated in 1968. Gary said, “I have had the privilege of marrying and now living with the most wonderful girl and my by-far better half, Farole.” They have five daughters and 11 grandchildren, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2021. Gary and Farole came to Christ Church in 2000 and have come to embrace both the people and the mission. Gary retired in 2020 after leading a medical supply business for 40 years. He has served as an elder at Christ Church for nearly 20 years and was asked to assume the new role of Financial Administrator in 2021. He particularly enjoys reading about church history and American history.
