Our hope is that we as an entire congregation would align our lives to the singular vision of cultivating gospel transformation. We have sought to clarify three strategic directions in order to help us identify and further align ourselves with this vision.
First, we commit ourselves to belonging in gospel community. To belong is to engage each individual and family in the ministries best designed for their entering into community—from corporate worship to K-Groups, and from community events to our membership process. In the end, everyone will gain a sense of belonging to a gospel community and Christ Church’s mission mandate (1 Corinthians 12:12–26).
Second, to cultivate growing in gospel transformation we intentionally engage in community to regularly and repetitively hear and share the gospel. We do this through spiritual formation groups, discipleship groups, and participation in Foundations and Sunday morning corporate worship (Romans 12:1–2, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Ephesians 4:11–16, Colossians 3:9–10).
Third, giving in gospel mission is becoming generous with one’s spiritual gifts, resources, and time to cultivate gospel transformation within the community of Christ Church, its surrounding community, and to the ends of the earth (Proverbs 3:9–10; 2 Corinthians 8:1–5, 9:2–15).
