This year marks the second year of the Marriage Ministry of Christ Church. Our mission is to provide resources such as biblically based teaching, mentoring, and counseling in order to give practical guidance and suggestions to enrich our marriages or help renew hurting marriages. We also desire to create opportunities for couples in all the various stages of marriage and parenting to connect. Ultimately, our goal is to revitalize our covenant marriages and keep them healthy and strong by nurturing the sacred bond between husband and wife and between the couple and the One who makes all things glorious – Christ. In 2009 the ministry served towards this end by offering the following:

• Marriage Enrichment Conference with Dr. Dan Zink, Counseling Professor at Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO.
• Marriage Study using the Love Dare book by Kendrick followed by the viewing of the movie Fire Proof.
• Panel Discussion and lunch with Gary and Farole Haluska, Don and Carolyn Hailey, Art and Millie Moser.
• Marriage Mentoring with couples in need of encouragement.
